Red for Kawasaki Disease!

On January 26th, we wear red. But, whyyyy? Today is Kawasaki Disease Awareness Day! Aria, daughter of a dear friend/talented photographer/amazing mom, was diagnosed, when she was five months old. It causes inflammation of the blood vessels, and the symptoms include an extremely high fever that lasts for days, a body rash, and red, swollen lips, tongue, hands, and feet. If these are overlooked for too long, it can affect the arteries of the young one or be deadly. Let's show support and raise awareness of this rare childhood disease!
