Keep Calm and Carry On
Woosah. Sometimes, we get caught up with the daily tasks of deadlines and long to-do lists. To calm the mind, I practice yoga or yogalates (combined with Pilates!) two to three times a week. The breathing techniques help to relax, and the poses build full body strength and the abdominals, which means improved posture -- MUCH needed, after being in a bad car accident.
Let's face it. Life can be stressful, but some things are out of our control. Embrace the challenge and accept the change. We will learn so much and grow from the experience. Happiness, on the other hand, is in our court. No one else controls your happiness, but you. So, do you!
I am ecstatic to go to New Orleans tomorrow for my cousin's wedding extravaganza this weekend! Cannot wait to see all of the family!! Any places I have to visit? :)
