Children's Muay Thai at Houston Muay Thai

Parents... have you heard?! You can take your child to Houston Muay Thai! Days of hiring a babysitter, while you hit the gym, or skipping a workout entirely are long gone. While you work on your fitness, your young one can too! The gym offers Children's Muay Thai the same time as the beginner's Muay Thai class for adults at 6:00 p.m. on weeknights. In the class, they will learn to defend themselves. They grasp the basics of kicking and punching, while being trained to quickly respond with blocks and jumps.

This shows that Muay Thai can be practiced at any age. When started early, your child will hone fundamental traits: self-discipline, respect, courage, self-esteem, mental acuity, and physical strength. With the world-class instructors at Houston Muay Thai, this class will foster your child's development into a respectable adult.

I stopped in on a class and watched the kids in action! I asked each of them a set of questions about why they enjoy Houston Muay Thai. Here is what they had to say!

Houston Muay Thai added their Children's Muay Thai class in October 2016. It is a safe and fun way for the kids to engage in physical activity, set to achieve realistic goals, and master a sport. Let's set an example and show them the importance of staying in motion and being strong and healthy!
